Beautiful wedding ceremony locations in Sydney

Updated: Jul 4, 2018

We are so incredibly blessed to live in a city as stunning as Sydney. So when the time comes to start trying to find a location for your outdoor wedding ceremony you really will be spoiled for choice. So many Sydney suburbs have an abundance of scenic and romantic spaces available for hire. Here are some of my favourites.

Centennial Parklands

A favourite ceremony location for many Sydneysiders and you can understand why. It is beautiful. Just 10 minutes from the Sydney CBD yet you feel like you are a million miles away. Plus within the park there are multiple spots to choose from to truly make your wedding your own. For more information on holding your wedding at Centennial Parklands click HERE.

Rodd Island - Sydney Harbour National Park in Iron Cove

Your own private island... Say no more! This one is an all time favourite of mine. This is actually where I got married! It is only accessible by boat and is just near Birkenhead Point. It is such a beautiful location. The island has expansive gardens, a private waterside location and historic buildings, including a dance hall (that is the perfect wet weather back up option) as well as 2 summer houses to shade your guests from the Sun. You could even make a full day of it and hold your reception here too. It is the perfect location.

Wendy's secret garden

This hidden gem is a beautiful and magical place to hold your wedding ceremony. Just 3km from the CBD in Lavender Bay, these lush gardens will give your wedding the exclusive and mystical wedding of your dreams. Words just can't describe the feeling this location gives you. Go for a little adventure and see for yourself. You can find more information HERE.

There are so many locations in and around Sydney, these are just a few of many. My best advice is spend a day and travel around and look at the many beautiful locations on offer. You may just find the place of your dreams and if not, at the very least you will get to do some amazing sight seeing!
